The cartridge .223 REM (5.56×45) is used for sporting and hunting shooting through bolt-action and semi-automatic carbines. The cartridge keeps its quality under various climatic and weather conditions independent of the season and at the temperature range from -20°С to +50 °С. The cartridge case is bottle-shaped with a non-projecting flange. The cartridge complies with CIP requirements.
